Dyplast “Mission Critical” Article in LNG Industry Magazine

Dyplast examines the role of the insulation system in optimizing value in LNG Facilities!

Dyplast CEO Ted Berglund and VP of Sales and Marketing Joe Hughes just published an article in the “July/August” issue of LNG Industry magazine which examines the importance of due diligence when choosing a cryogenic insulation system that will optimize value in LNG Facilities. The selection of the optimal insulant and the appropriate insulation system is “Mission Critical”! Engineers, specifiers, owners, and stakeholders are becoming increasingly vigilant regarding what information is relevant, what information is factual, is there full disclosure, and is data validated by an independent laboratory? These concerns dictate a second or even third look at optimizing lifecycle risk and performance – steps beyond lifecycle cost. This article considers the role of the insulant and the insulation system in these efforts since they have a substantial impact on lifecycle cost (material/labor capital cost), long term operation and maintenance costs, and on lifecycle performance and risk.

Dyplast Products Safety Week 2015

In June Dyplast celebrated its 1^st Annual Safety Week. CEO Ted Berglund kicked off the event with a keynote speech promoting safety awareness.  Special recognition for employees’ safety conscious contributions were awarded throughout the week and the week-long activities included mock safety inspections to raise employees’ level of consciousness on safety related matters.  Overall Dyplast staff did a fantastic job communicating its safety messages in a fun, educational, and interactive way!

26 May 2015: Dyplast Products, LLC's ISO-C1® 2.5 fully complies with CINI 2014 (Committee INdustrial Insulation) in all aspects (material, mechanical, and chemical properties, and combustibility) achieving or exceeding properties for LNG and cryogenic applications.

Dyplast Products, LLC used certified independent laboratories to complete all the testing of CINI 2014 (Committee INdustrial Insulation) for the ISO-C1 2.5, polyisocyanurate rigid insulation foam use in LNG and cryogenic applications. We are pleased to announce that Dyplast meets or exceeds all material, mechanical, and chemical properties, and combustibility testing.

The NIA announced the 2015 Theodore H. Brodie Safety Awards at the March 2015 Annual Convention and for the second consecutive year, Dyplast Products was awarded the prestigious Platinum Safety Award in the Associates (Manufacturers) category. This award is in recognition of Dyplast Products continued exemplary efforts in maintaining and continuously improving their comprehensive safety program and company culture which endeavors to provide a safe working environment and ensure the well-being of their employees.

The Theodore H. Brodie Distinguished Safety Award is NIA's highest industry honor for outstanding safety performance. This the 3rd year Dyplast has been so recognized with one previous Silver and one previous Platinum awards.

Dyplast Products will be attending the ASTM Committee C16 Meeting on Thermal Insulation at its bi-annual meeting at the Marriott Anaheim.
